Posted January 5, 2012 Have them, so instead of whenever you attack a follower of that faith you're stronger, that whenever you're in their domain you get angrier and stronger, thus do more damage and fight better. The deeper into the domain of the god, the stronger. The strength of this would be stronger then other demise spells, but only if deep enough.
Posted January 5, 2012 Not sure if I'm on board with this. I like the idea of buffing demise spells, but from a realistic perspective an enemy's power should wane in enemy influence.

Spent a bit of time trying to think of different ways to change demise spells, this is one of the few. any other ideas would be appreciated

Posted January 5, 2012 What he is proposing sort of reflects an enemy's power waning while within the domain of gods hostile to them. Sounded more like an enemy's power should grow while in hostile influence. Something along those lines would probably require a modifier such as faith, soul strength, etc.; an entirely seperate change, and I believe that the effect of the demise spells should simply be buffed, but with matching penalties for failure to cast. Human's demise would make you fight better in any pvp case, but having Fo's demise and deep into a village with a high fo influence would make you stronger there eventually, but weaker outside of it then if you had human's demise. But could you not take an entirely different stance and say that a Libila follower for example fights better in a zone of Libila influence?
