I know it has been suggested before but i cant be bothered to dig it up and comment so i thought id make my own.

Glass could be used for-

Windows > Glass window + window frame >window. added to wall(window)

Mirrors. suggested before.

and thats about it really.

20kg of sand into forge> 1kg of glass (glowing)

If you fail to create something using the glass you get molten sand.

Ideas on top of this would be great

Catapults that fire on the window could be able to shatter the glass.

glass in windows could help to lower decay of the items inside. Like, there would be no wind blowing around.

Make glass a requirement for windows, it doesn't make sense to have a huge gaping hole in your wall.
