Posted December 23, 2011 I'm pretty sure you all have heard of the game "Mafia" before, if not well then here's a small summary. People would group up in a large group of irl friends, they would all sit together, and then one person is the "Moderator", who basically controls what goes on There would be 2 groups, Mafia and village. The game would start at night, where everyone's eyes were closed, Then the mafia would tell the moderator who they choose, that person would be "shot" "out" or w/e they called it, and be excluded from the rest of the game, only able to watch. Once the night phase was over, the villagers and maf opened their eyes, seeing who died, and would be able to communicate, and can choose to "lynch", "hang" "kill" or w/e, a person they suspect is mafia. Mafia would win once they outnumbered the village, or village would win once they killed all the mafia. Thi game evolved, adding more roles, like Cop, who would, at night, be able to tell who the mafia is or who village is by "investigating" a person each night, Doctor who could save a person each night, and etc. Many roles were added, then the game evolved into emails, forums, and finally a fast paced version called Epicmafia. http://www.epicmafia.com/ This game adds MANY new roles to the old Mafia game, including a new catagory called 3rd parties, who can win alone or jointwin with villagers or mafia, all official roles are here: http://www.epicmafia.com/role Each game is a "Setup", which is a premade game having specific roles, or it could be Closed setup, where roles given are random from a selected amount, i.e you could pick 20 village roles for a closed setup, but have only 10 be picked. Posted December 24, 2011 Hah, my friends tried to teach me to play this while queuing for the rides at Alton Towers (someone had bought cards), I didn't understand it at all, and I was asking who was who...
