Changes to alchemy (Healing covers)

Recommended Posts

Add the option for "Lore" to healing covers

At 10 alchemy, you can see roughly how well a healing cover will work (Lore) after examining

at 30, you can examine instead of lore

at 50, you can use lore to see exactily what it was made of

at 70, you can see what it was made of via the name of it instead.

Along with this, have the healing cover quality relate to alchemy rank and ql of ingredients more, instead of what appears to be complete randomness..

doesn't make sense for "Lore" to exist, considering you can already see how well it will work from the wiki anyways.

You don't get lore on the healing covers, you get lore before mixing the actual ingredients.

Are you suggesting adding lore options to the actual healing covers?

-1 to this one.

maybe give players the option to use this  before start up.

I like the way HC's are now they work fine using examine.

+1

Only a few menu options below lore is the "What's This?" option that renders lore completly useless. Well, with a high enough skill you save one click, since you don't have to click "What's This?" on both ingredients.

So I think either we give lore some other use like proposed or just blankly remove it. It cludders the menu.

I don't understand all the need to analyze covers.  Here's all you need to know: the only covers worth a damn are those made from glands and teeth.  Everything else goes into the trash heap or altar.

Sad but true.
