Still doesnt. I run it and "Wurmhelper.exe" flashes at the top of my task manager sorted by cpu usage. Then "WerFault.exe" flashes at the top of the list. And then things are back to normal. I noticed on finding where WerFault was on my machine thats the"Windows Error Fault reporter" or some such. So its obviosly segfaulting or whatever.

Anyway it no longer gives me a windows program has stopped responding message. Is that progress? lol.

Does this version have the log file? Cuz I didnt see one in the directory.

Sigh. I'm gifted like this. I always get the bugs no one else gets. I did something in second life once that the developer of a 50$US piece of software had never thought of and it generated a bug 6 months after he had finished bug testing and released it. I was so good at reproducing it he gave me a free upgrade to the next tier of software with more features for life lol.

Okay I added a error catcher on when the program starts, so try starting and see if any error pop's up. And lol it must been a hidden bug, just like one for WurmHelper

Same thing, WurmHelper, WerFault in processes in task manager and thats it. Is it possible its something your loading like a library or something before it even runs?

Another option is to get to the real hard core wtf coding and create me a special version where the first thing it does is pop up a "Did it even run?" window with an ok button. That would atleast see if its executing code at all or crashing before it even starts.

Just an idea. Dont worry I wont give up. This is interesting now.

I installed it again from scratch and now I get a problem when I try to access skilldump, it tells me "Invalid File Name:C:\Users\Joshwurm\players" which leads me to believe its combining my user directory with the wurm directory, since I am not Joshwurm.... with the inability to specify a destination on my own, it leads that portion useless until patched.

Just as a mention. (I'm sure you'd say if you had addressed my problem but I figured I'd rather over kill on information, then under). When I run this the updater does NOT download and the same problem as before with the main program. Just mentioning.

Cant wait till I can use this thing hehe.

When I tried to run 1.0.0 it comes up with the updater, doesn't download anything and lets me click Done Downloading, at which point it just repops up over and over again. I had to uninstall and download 1.0.1 and install that.

Yeah I think I might have messed up on the download code some where, need to take a look at it, and I've been still working on your problem for the program not even starting. I have a few version I'd like you to test, but we'll do that tomorrow or when ever you're free.

Havnt seen you on skype. I'm logged in 24/7 except for of course outages. Just sent you a message even though it says your offline just to see if you get it. I'm available off and on. Throughout the day and sometimes night EST (east coast USA) I guess we just gotta wait till we cross paths unless you wanna try and do this through email.

Sorry for the semi late reply, skill dump and everything is working fine now thanks. Only question is, I remember it use to plug my stats into the rest of the program and now I have to manually type them. Did you remove that feature? Am I missing it? Is there a way that we could just rightclick on a dump and have it load the appropriate numbers from that dump?

No worries man and that's good to hear that it's working. And I removed that feature due to changing the skill dump system, but I will be adding it back in soon.

Hello everyone, sorry for not being active but I've been working on WurmHelper off and on when I have time. I'll be releasing the new version in a few days, maybe if I get all the bugs out it will be sooner, but you never know, so stay tuned. Yes this new WurmHelper will have a custom layout, and I've done a different system for updating the application because the other one kept being buggy no matter what. And Schwanke your issue of WurmHlelper not loading should be fixed in this new version but I'm not 100% sure.

Hey Warlander, yeah I've been working on WurmHelper for like almost a year. And hey thanks and good luck to you as well.

And for suggestions, I'm not sure what to suggest because I took a look at your program this morning and all I can say is nice job man, but I will let you know if anything comes to my mind.

I'm gonna be releasing the latest version of WurmHelper on Friday 10/12/2012 so stay tuned. The reason it's taking me awhile is because I'm trying to get rid of bugs and trying to make it so it runs smooth as possible. Hey. Any way to import a SkillDump to auto fill in all the info like Digging Skill, body control, carpentry, masonry, body strength etc? Seems to be workin so far.

Also be cool if the season calculator could take a copy paste of the date/time line. I do that for my (now outdated) web version.

Looks great! Except for that first bug seems to be working fine.
