Posted October 27, 2008 There is a problem with new client installs that has been fixed in the latest test client. Try the test client first :- http://wurmonline.com/client/testclient/wurmclienttest.jnlp This should set up all your config files.
Posted October 27, 2008 The newest test client is actually too new to perform the full setup for the main client. You might have to manually add the line "game_renderer = 0" to the gamesettings.txt file mentioned in the console log.
Posted October 27, 2008 Thanks for the reply's But they dont work :'(. When i click on the link (test client) wurm starts. But i spawn in a hostile enviremont with 50 8) fighting skill and archery. ( remarkebel with a basic account ). If i add the line "game_renderer = 0" in my gameconfig it still crashes. Can my router block something because i allways had difficulties of reaching this site. ??? I hope you can help me Knalvoer

Posted October 27, 2008 That's the one, yes. It looks like you moved your installation, so please also post C:\Documents and Settings\Knalvoer\My Documents\WURM\configs\default\gamesettings.txt - that should be the last file.
