Posted November 7, 2011 I wouldn't recommend building a laptop, its tricky. and specifications depend if your after a good one, a cheap one, and your price range. You can get 3000$ video cards, or 100$ ones, its all about what your willing to spend and what you plan on using it for. High end gaming? School work? Internet? Etc. Posted November 7, 2011 I am really tech savvy and I was lookin for a hard project so... I am trying to get it around 1000$ USD but maybe a bit higher or lower. I would most likely use it for gaming, Wurm (Duh), Internet, but it needs to be relatively portable. I was eying some of the Dell Alienware laptops... Posted November 7, 2011 For that price id honestly recommend my laptop that i use for gaming for that. - http://tinyurl.com/69t5yl8 Its 1200$.... Cheap, Pure gaming, i love it. Unless you want to go alienware laptops (~1800$) i would stick to this. Alot of laptops are normally missing a good video card, this one has a great one that im very happy with, a NVIDIA GTX 560M which has 2 gigs of memory, with 8 gigs of ram and an i7, a great laptop.
