Here I thought Wurm "invented" bearsharks, silly me. But no, Google is stuffed with references... According to the Urban Dictionary, bearsharks date back to August 15, 1807.  I find that improbable. Also questionable was this site's dating of it to a reddit post in 2009 since I found many sites predating that, including one person drawing them back in the 1980s. Turns out Americans are much more interested in bearsharks than any other country (maybe that conservative site is right)
