Hitching post/peg

I'd like to see two new craftable items in-game. A hitching post and a hitching peg.

The post would be stationary, like any other large non-portable item, and the recipe would be something like three logs and six wooden pegs. Its purpose would be to attach horses (or other mounts) temporarily so they won't wander off. If possible, some kind of rights assignment system would be great (eg. I hitch my horse on deed or off and only I can un-hitch it regardless of branded state). Figure two animals per post, one post per tile.

The hitching peg would serve the same purpose, but would be single-animal and portable. The recipe would be something like a wooden peg and a rope.

You could use graphics from the existing pile of logs for the hitching peg; just cut off one of those little corner pegs holding the pile of logs from rolling.
