Posted January 8, 2011 Are there ideas who did it? I just saw the article on BBC News, but I don't expect it's as detailed. It's a complete tragedy that democratically elected officials could be targeted by violence, and I hope that she can pull through despite the horrific head wound that she it reported to have received. Jared Lee Loughner is the name they gave. from what i've seen around teh web researching his name he was apparently obsessed with 2012 and apparently identified as left? but had very strong right-wing views.. Posted January 8, 2011 Oh, I'm reading the CNN article now and it says a Federal Judge died. How horrific indeed. I hope the culprit is caught, if not for society's sake, but for the sake of their mental health and to ensure a fair and impartial trial for someone who seemingly highly deranged. Posted January 8, 2011 ive watched his youtube videos. hes either facing life in prison, which will go over terribly for him, deservedly at that. or a psych defense landing him in an asylum. he sounds schizophrenic, his videos are written in a schizophrenic manner. my only education is a AP Psychology course on this, college level class for an entire year, but thats exactly what he seems like to me.
