Willow tree model causing problems since pack update (10/25/2010)

Willow trees not rendering properly and causing 0 FPS and mouse problems. Happened after graphics pack update today. No willows close to my toon, but models bleeding through terrain and showing up as a gray colored outline.

Am able to move around by looking at the ground or up in the sky. When trying to look at a willow directly, client locks and has to be killed via windows task manager. (javaw.exe)

When I turn "pretty trees" off in advanced graphics tab, problem goes away but trees look awful.

I have deleted and refreshed the graphics.jar and verified the packs. -- no improvement

Try updating your Java first, problems with willows is usually caused by an old bug.

If that doesn't work, please post the contents of your console.log

There is no way to know if your video card supports non-power of two textures at this time.

On the upside your issue exposed a bug in the assets.

It's worse than that. We can tell that the card supports NPOT because it claims to (and it does). The driver just goes crazy if you use it.

Ill just continue to try and remove them as I find them then, to avoid the issue all together.
