If you are fighting a small maul user it was already useless 1v1 as you rarely  can get a cast in without being interrupted. 

Its kind of hard to take you seriously Tony when you say something like this but then are able to cast 'Cure light' 13 times in a fight against someone using small mauls... Maybe its that small mauls do so little dmg they don't interupt casting?

Nobody that I know of wanted Fo Priests/Champs not to be able to heal in combat as it actually got you out of the gatehouse!

Iirc, when Michiel was dying everyone was trying to bash Gavin... but then again Gavin may be a bad example because... well, he's Gavin.

Get some Body Control, you'll last easily trying to cast in 9 seconds with >40 control against 1 or 2 people, but you'll die if there's like 5 on you obviously.

Thats a rediculous comparison.  Gavin has an absurd body control level if I have heard correctly it's in the 60 range.  I'm sorry but that's many years of grinding with current stat gains.  I am NOT asking for Gavin to be nerfed, however I do not believe he's anything even remotely resembling a typical Fo champ.

I would say that testing should center on the effectiveness of champs with respectable but not excessive stats.  40-50 body stam and strength, and 30-40 body control.

I might have to spar with someone and see how well I can cast, since I work out of purely defensive mode.  Rolf may be trying to turn Fo priests into something resembling archetype healers, in which case they won't do much good damage output wise, but should take a real beating and be damn hard to kill.

I might need to see about logging into the test server someday.

That would likely be alot better, allows you to cast it once here and there but you can't spam it constantly to stay alive.

10 second cast timer makes it real hard to pull off, I'm fine with things like 'Heal' next to impossible to pull off - but cure light ehh.

I had no problems casting cure lights on myself in a spar today.  Defensive, dual short swords, plate armor.  decent stats, nowhere near 70 fs fighting a 70 fs opponent.

Kinda funny you say JK nerfed Fo off the battlefield, we have the most fo champs... At any rate even as a Fo champ myself I think it was needed as cure light was ridiculously OP before, anyone who claims otherwise is delusional, only bad champ's couldn't cast it - it's a 4 second timer.

I do however agree with thoughts Fo has limited uses in combat now.

LT and Venom require links, nolocate is kinda niche and iirc multiple gods get it, refresh is pretty much impossible to cast in PvP unless your fighting dumb people, heal spells are very hard to cast now, taming+/aggro animals - true, walking through thorns - true, oakshell - eh, true.
