Posted November 13, 2010 also the chat colors are broken or is that a feature: do you notice how the last line is while while the previous text is grey? if I tab to another chat tab and then back to kchat all lines are grey. same goes for local/village. Seems there was a change that has a quite heavy impact to my setup. (AMD X3 420e, 4 GB RAM, Win 7 pro 64, GeForce GT 240 GDDR5, any software up to date.) Have fun! Posted November 17, 2010 I stopped doing pack patch notes unless its a major update (as in move test packs to live), no one read them anyway and it just caused confused threads. Because no one read them, and even less went to the test server. Also, just FYI, Client updates never include pack updates, and pack updates never include client updates. Two different teams. Lots of work to still be done. Haradur does have models loading, textures loading, (Bone based) animations loading and playing (FK works, IK is a bit buggy), and mesh deformation working. Posted November 18, 2010 is there something wonky with the unstable client that i can't save my sound preferences? or is this something that still needs to be changed from outside the game? i'm attempting to use weather sounds and/or ambient sound, and the game settings window accessible in game won't let me save these changes. bonus points if it's possible for me to use the weather (and maybe ambient) sounds *without* also having to hear activity sounds like digging. The UI is also screwed up, acting like on-top status on WinXP (in windowed mode, moving mouse to bottom doesn't pop up the Windows taskbar) and the titlebar covers the hotkey buttons (and rolled up inventory/skills panes initially--which aren't remembered even being open or their branch status). Posted November 19, 2010 Tried the unstable client. The improvements to the animations look good, but got an irregular "chattering lag" as it ran.
