Option Tie horse

Recommended Posts

Tie to a tree..  for when you log off in the woods.

Can be untied and stolen, but horse will stay put if left alone.

Fire away......

Think this is a great idea.  Think it would be hell to code.

We need horse locks.

Just kidding, of course. Agreed this feature is needed. Maybe Mr.B can draw us up a nice hitching post as well or perhaps just let wooden fences be used the same way.

I'm probably wrong, but I would guess that if you have a rope activated, and a horse, and you "lead the horse" the item changes from "horse' to "horse with a rope" (or something along those lines), and you drag that item.

Coding would be  ATTACH / UNATTACH the "horse with a rope" to a tree, much like you attach a door lock to a door.

A hitching post would be great.

the more I think about this, hitching to a tree would be same code as hitching to a cart.  Seems pretty easy to add.  Might want to require mature or better tree.

Could use the same code as hitching to a cart, but don't horses become unhitched after a server reset?

+1 as mentioned in this and previous post on the topic. Could have used that today while I was working. :)
