Posted October 16, 2010 Changes in 2.7.5b Support for more friends on writs. FYI, this appears to have fixed my broken writs. I had several writs that I could not alter in any way and now it seems I can. Could not Destroy, add, remove, rename, add villager, add allies, etc. I haven't tested all aspects yet, but it appears they function again. Thank you! Posted December 8, 2010 Changes in 2.7.5f * Broken release, ignore. Changes in 2.7.5g * Backported client data collection so we can get data from people who can't (or just don't) use the unstable client as well.
Posted January 15, 2011 I don't know what client this started in, for at least 3-4 months I've been inactive and haven't logged in, recently I started playing again and the client seemed smoother, at Kyara I was able to run on maximum settings with no problems and practically zero lag, and did some hunting and traveling with no problems. I joined some PvP today and started lagging like crazy, I then switched to my lower-spec profile and was still lagging like crap, I then turned everything to absolute minimum, ie everything on low spec, tile transitions off, trees render 1, sound off, still bad. I noticed this on both the unstable and stable client, turning off my antivirus and anything else I figured might be using CPU had no effect. The moment I walked into a mine or walked far away for enemies to come out of local it fixed up and was fine again. Maybe it's related to fire pillar? that was being spammed alot. GTX275 and i7 920 on win7 x64.
Posted January 15, 2011 This is why fire pillar is the worse thing in the world, It literally left hundreds of light entiys that you could see across the map and causes lag
Posted January 15, 2011 Those should have been resolved, as well as the FPS issue. Please provide data.
Posted January 15, 2011 I wasn't lagging at all when everyone was casting and I was right there.

Sorry if it confuses you? I don't think it's too hard to understand, but "Left" being past tense, it left hundreds of lights. Left meaning afterwards. Posted January 16, 2011 Humm, there's still a problem with lights being left? Will investigate.
Posted January 16, 2011 Maybe it's related to fire pillar? that was being spammed alot. Can't be related, the stable client completely ignores fire pillar. It will help greatly if you can find a reliable way to reproduce the issue.
Posted January 16, 2011 Try dropping 50 light tokens and watch your fps drop from 50+ to single didgets. Then go to the outer ring of the light source and view the pretty rainbows. Come back an hour later and the area will still be glowing even though the light source has burned out long before. The light doesn't always stick around but it does happen frequently and the only way to get it to go away is to relog. Hopefully this will at least give you a place to start looking... Posted January 16, 2011 Can't be related, the stable client completely ignores fire pillar. I thought it would originally but could not find anything else. I'll let you know if I find anything I think might help.
