Cared for animal disappeared

Player Vixen cared for the champion wolf.  I tamed it like I do occasionally to get taming skill.  I got a message Your pet is nowhere to be found. It may have died of old age.  Didn't think much of it then I visited the stables the the champion wolf is no longer in the stables.  You can verify it was alone in the stables with Enki.  I would like the wolf replaced as it should not have died of old age after being tamed by me which I have done tons of times since the wolf was many years old.

Hi,

The note that "it may have died of old age" is just a default message and does not specficically reveal the cause of death, it could have died from anything else, such as starvation / being killed.

Was the animal branded or just cared for?
