Posted August 29 I really want to get in the game because I watched a review on youtube on it and it seemed really cool but the client keeps saying "update failed! (Error: error opening connection to patch server.)" and I press retry update but it keeps saying the same thing I reinstalled it and still nothing there are times where I open the game and it downloads but I cant play at that time so I quit and when I am finally able to play I open the client and nothing it just says download and gives the same error. Posted September 15 I have been getting this error on both steam and wurm clients for the past couple of weeks, exclusively when connected to a VPN. When not connected to a VPN, it works flawlessly. The error occurs whether the client is fully up-to-date or not, and immediately on opening. I've tried multiple VPN IPs and locations, all with the same results.
