Healing Indicators Incorrect

Recommended Posts

Ok. So I accidentally attacked my horse earlier (i gave myself a nose in the corner time out. I wore the dunce cap and every thing. So that's been taken care of). When i examined the wound on my horse, I saw this:

and this in my event tab:

So I treated that using cotton, then I saw these:

Was that bad wound worsening slowly. I got no idea, just that's what it said. So I applied a 20 power healing cover and then saw these:

So with that 20 power healing cover, the wound was still worsening slowly. I figured this to be inaccurate. But I put that horse on an enchanted grass tile, just in case. Saw the same indicators after I put it on enchanted grass. Later the next healing tic occurred and I saw this:

So that wound went from bad/32 to medium/20 in one healing tic. So ya, those indicators (above) that said my horse's wound was 'bad, bandaged, treated, worsening slowly' were incorrect. I have noticed this at various times, but am just now submitted this on forums.

For wounds that get treated, the indicators do not accurately display the healing status of the wound. In this case, it said the wound was worsening slowly, when it was in actuality, healing at a pretty good clip.

In case this is a skill level thing:  My healing skill is at (40.26) and first aid is at (58.67).

Thanks your time, please fix or make it worse, as appropriate (lol).

Thanks for the bug report. From what we can tell, it's likely that the actual healing rate is correct when it matters, but isn't being updated on non-player creatures often enough, leading to erroneous information like this. In other words, the healing rate should be correct when healing/worsening actually occurs, but may not be correct when you view or examine the wound in between those times.
