A cloth tailoring item - Robes. When I think of Pagan priests (or maybe just the pretend pagan priests at Stonehenge every year) I immediately imagine a white robe with a hood. And I think this could be a great suggestion for Wurm, it would be a way of identifying Priests too. When made these robes would be plain, but could dyed to contain an image of any of the Gods. I envision Green for Fo, Blue for Vynora, Red for Magranon and Black for Libila. This would be a high difficulty item to start - at least 50+ tailoring for a low chance.

This should be mainly made of cloth and weigh a little bit more than a cloth shirt, trousers, and hat combined. You create the robes on a square piece of cloth with a needle, which would produce unfinished robes. You would then need to add a leather belt and wool or fur (perhaps this could be two different types of robes, wool lined or fur lined with slightly different models). You could then apply the relevant dye if you wanted to.

Right now, Priest's get a 30% bonus for wearing either no armour, cloth or leather amour, this could be increased if the Priest only wears the robe and nothing else. Maybe 40% (instead of 30%) with no armour.

Other things the Robe could do (assuming the difficulty to make is high enough), these don't have to be set in stone and happy to hear arguments against:

  • Alignment gain bonuses
  • Increase chances of casting spells (perhaps not PvP spells)
  • Reducing the number of people needed to faith gain from a sermon
  • Extra favour from sacrificing

Another suggested benefit to wearing a robe.  Increases the chance to successfully DISPEL something by X%

Another potential robe benefit. Can hear confession of characters not of your religion
