When you minimize the chat or event window it clears any messages from it. 64-bit Linux, LWJGL.

Also I'm still getting the alt-tab ignore keyboard thing.

"Toggle imp column" in a container window messes up the table header. Can be fixed by resizing the window

If after "Expand all" all window space is used by items there is only the scrollbar left to select collapse them all. It would be nice if at least the [+] handles could show the collapse all option

You can also click any of the column headers, that's the intended target.

I think i'm being too picky, but is there anyway to turn off the "Fight options" title? before the change it wasn't there, (but was on the box when you entered a fight i think) it's just partially annoying due to it taking up a bit too much room for my liking :P

Edit: having logged in to look again, i also think there's too much space between the fight icons and the borders, but i suppose thats due to the new box system being spaced more.

Please fix this horrendous FPS lag. Please do NOT release the current unstable to the main stable client until this issue is fixed, or I can NOT play.

It's still stopping the current action if you're doing something. I'd like a separate STOP and OPTIONS bind, maybe even with a combined bind as default (STOPTIONS?).

If even the small size window is too big, I suggest you hide the window completely and explore the wonderful world of keybinds. :)

I've tried your config, and there's no obvious difference. It looks like you're using a quad core, is it usually running at close to 25% load?

Also, those latest dumps are quite similar; the unstable client even has better average performance. Possibly you created them at bad times. If you use 'toggle debug' you can see the timing update live and create the dump when the difference is more pronounced.

Crashed the unstable client 4 times last night, so its repeatable...

I just resized an empty container, dragged the resize corner up (fast) to the top... and get a java divide by zero error

not every time, but enough to be annoying, especially if mouse goes for a wonder as they do sometimes...

so not crash log, atm, if need one, i'll reproduce it tonight

Thanks! :) When trying to abort some mistakenly stacked actions (tool on pile for example), it's nice when the options window does not show after pressing Esc a few dozen times. I'll bind the menu to ^ (DEAD_CARON) instead, because I'm less stateful than the client is. ;)

Yeah i do, but i use that small bar to change from agg,norm,def still, and to turn range mode on/off, i don't use the larger one unless i need to do a special move. :V

MD, try right clicking the fight box, there should be an option to toggle size. Weird I know and it's different to other controls in wurm, but see if it sorts it for you :P

* Minor bugfixes to LWJGL mouse events. Hide tooltips when the mouse is outside the window.

* Revert STOP to be stop only. Add new keybinds MAIN_MENU and STOP_OR_MAIN_MENU.

* Bugfix: Divide-by-zero in tiny scrollbar.

* New compass look, now with a lid and in two sizes.

* Overhaul the tooltip system. Let us know if you see any weird tooltips.

* Add limited support for dragging items around.

No offense, but I don't like the new compass. Also, you can't aim anymore with your numpad keys....

Another thing.... I hate the fact that everything in the skill list goes by row, and not column when you roll over your skills.

Btw, the closing tab issue still isn't fixed for me. When I close tabs, it goes to the left, not right.

Dont suppose that there could be the option of choosing which artwork of the "gadgets" you want? (such as picking the look of the compass from several choices in the option menu)

I get the same error as Robert using lwjgl+Linux.

switching to JOGL didn't work good either. There is still that double click issue and I did get a lockup with JOGL after running for like 5 minutes.  the client just stopped to use CPU time and went completely unresponsive. as if the rendering loop stopped for some reason, maybe a deadlock.

I didn't like the new compass either. the big version is BIG and with the small one you can hardly read the letters :(

Getting the same error as Robert and Wintermute with LWJGL, Ubuntu 9.10 and Nvidia 190.53  :)

JOGL starts up fine but no mouse or keyboard input with that as usual.

switching from unstable to stable reset all keybinds. better make a copy first
