Make paying upkeep give marks points

I'd like to suggest making the add to upkeep function give a quarter of what buying premium does in reward points/marks.

If it isn't already in the game then I guess there is no point in suggesting it. DUH!

 

I already know that and that's why I am suggesting something extra. You could either keep premming more toons you won't need or just have a bigger and bigger deed for extra points. Some people are probably premmed to year 2100 at this point and I don't think wurm will make it that far.

Bad idea, marks is intended as a reward for supporting Wurm. Either you already get marks from buying the silver that you use to pay upkeep, or you get the upkeep from other peoples money (which mean they got marks when they bought it).

I keep very small deeds so I don't need this but I don't get why there is no side benefit to keeping large deeds. A lot of people who keep large deeds buy silver from code club. They do support the game.

it's double/triple-dipping trough upkeep and you can drain the upkeep, so, L O L ????!?!?!?!??!? lol?

 

You buy silver, you get loyalty points, you invest them as upkeep, you drain them, you repeat... and get loyalty points?

Also you can get ingame silver from your spent time or upkeep chips, do you get LinkinPark currency from that too? yes..

That's why I lol'd, thanks for asking, I did try to not say it..

They could just make it so that the silver consumed by the deed rewards points and not the upkeep that is put in. It is that simple. 

 

The mayor would receive the points, yes.

Deed upkeep isn't consumed, it goes into the pot that pays out coins for foraging and killing etc.

It doesn't matter, you can't drain it back from your own deed once it is used up to keep your deed alive.

Not the money that has already been used up by the deed to stay alive another month. That is the whole point.
