Posted September 16, 2023 https://xanadu.yaga.host/#3212,2508 The red mark is the entrance to our tunnel. The grid is H15. We are currently needing the following help inside the tunnel: Construction of BSBs and support beams (mats can be provided), Several veins to bust (you can keep what you mine if you wish), and the mining of the tunnel itself. We are making forward progress at a decent rate, but the more miners we have the faster we can get this tunnel completed. I do not have silver to pay everyone, but you can keep what you mine, and ofcorse this does provide you with much needed experience. There's still a long long ways to go to get this highway up to the Pinewood Highway area, so we need as much help as we can get. You can message Playtime ingame if you have any questions. Thank you for reading and hopefully considering our request. ~Playtime
Posted September 19, 2023 My prediction is you will run into many enforced mines/tunnel on your way North. I personally don't like the idea and would like to know the route you are taking. So that you don't break existing tunnels etc

The route so far has been checked and looks clear.

You have already broken the west-east tunnel between G14 and G15 from 3157, 2171 to 3244, 2159 . This happened about 2 days ago. You created huge dropshafts and made the tunnel impassable. The problem is your insensible tunnel level. It starts bit north of Arrowhead Orchard at about 60dirt over water table ca., and proceeds all the way north at that level. The east-west tunnel in G14/15 is about 850-900 dirt higher. You did not even check before destroying it. If your project is heading towards F15 and beyond, that area is 1500 to 2000 dirt higher than your recent tunnel level. You may cause further disruptions when proceeding. And what you have already done does not make me happy. Edited September 20, 2023 by Ekcin typo
Posted September 20, 2023 and on top of what Ekcin say is that no consultation happened with the people that lives in the areas you crossing. The fact that something is not deeded and beamed up does not mean it is not being used actively. Yes, I know it is not against the rules but it is very rude to mess around with other players area. An that with something that is totally not needed in our area. There is other less intrusive ways to extend the highway system without negatively interfering in other players neighborhoods. Posted September 20, 2023 (edited) I want to warn not to proceed ruthlessly as before. I am looking for a solution to restore the east-west connection, without disrupting your work like you did it with ours. Do not seal the area around the east west tuinnel connection with reinforcements. Otherwise I would be forced to shut down your project by planting a deed over the crossing, collapsing, and restoring the original tunnel. I do not want to act that drastically. Get me right, a mining war would be the last I would wish or appreciate. I have nothing against your project though it seems not well planned to me. I just want to be able to do my normal rides and hunts, and dislike when my routes are blown up. I hope for a win-win solution. Firstly I want to deeply apologize to you, I was told it looked completely abandonded. I don't think there's any reinforcements that far yet, but if anything impeads you from correcting our mistake on your end, please message me ingame (I will check my messages here as well) and we'll get together on how both tunnels could carry on exsisting. We certainly would not have collapsed anything on purpose had we realized it was a work in progress or an established project. Part of my frustration with this whole thing is trying to bring more traffic to our area. Countless times I've had to travel all the way to VRock Inn and lead visitors to my deed or my area to someone elses deed because of them getting confused by the mess of arrows on the road right passed VRock. Even if you plot a route, it misleads you passed that point. Also the faster way North without having to back track through VRock would be helpful. At the same time though, the last thing I want to do is effect someone elses neighborhood in a negative way, this is why we cancled the offshoot that was going to actually come into the lake itself, because a resident there expressed that they did not want that to take place. Please understand that this tunnel is not just being built on behalf of my own deed, we have a whole area on our side of the lake that until a year ago did not even have a highway to it. We had to pick up our Wagoner orders at the VRock Inn, which is a bit of a haul compared to having it right in your front yard.
Posted September 24, 2023 Peace again and a fine outcome. We mined down to the tunnel, and up again to the crater. We then found that the tunnel down from G14 warranted a 2 lane extension, so we (Killerspike and me) decided to create a highway spawning east from the Vrock Landing - Scorpion Hill one. Only a lower number of resource tiles had to be mined out, and 3 we nuked with lava (erupt/freeze). Our highway part is ready, and ends in an active waypoint in the tunnel.Once the part south is cleared from resource veins there will be connection Scorpion Hill - Arrowhead Orchard. Even now, a wagoner container may be dropped at that waypoint if you want to send or receive resources from or for the tunnel work. Fun fact: I smelted the iron ore we had mined during our work at the smelter south in the tunnel (created by Qdlaty). For the transport, I borrowed a bsb not far from our workplace: [17:42:00] A storage bin for bulk goods, made from planks and strengthened with iron ribbons. Ql: 3.01648, Dam: 3.57795. When smelting, I imped it a bit, with success : [19:09:10] A storage bin for bulk goods, made from planks and strengthened with iron ribbons. You can barely make out the signature of its maker, 'Eldy.s.adow'. This is a very rare and interesting version of the item. Ql: 60.037132, Dam: 0.0. I dropped it where I picked it up.
