QoL please smelters and kilns

could we please get the ability to load kilns and smelters from crates and bsbs. it is seriously a real pain to fill a smelter over and over especially when you are carrying thousands of ore to convert to lumps the kilns are not quite as bad because of clay items being lighter than ore but still would certainly be much easier for them as well

isn't it possible to load them from bsbs? I dragged ore from a bsb to the furnace next to it multiple times already.

he probably means using the bulk move ability similar to how crate - crate works etc.

 

IIRC this was explained to be not possible due to the way the bulk feature is designed, with certain item details being destroyed/recreated in the database when moving items in and out of bulk storage

+1 if its possible, good idea. Moving stuff from bulk containers to smelters takes forever.

okay i do understand why it would be impossible with a kiln because it can take both bricks and pottery items however the only thing that you can put in a smelter is literally raw ore so i do not understand why they can not at least convert the smelters to make it easier to smelt bulk masses of ores

some kind of override/jump to another function or feature could be probably.. done from the client to pull and direct bulk items like clay bricks and metal shards from bsb/crate into a smelter/kiln with the regular or no check for player weight and item count to limit moved items per second etc..
