Why must Fo look so scary and aggressive?

Does his appearance pertain to lore? I'd assume that Magranon should look scarier than this. Is Fo not "the father of love and passion, beauty and harmony"?

Take a look at these lines:

In which case, Fo is showing that you should not judge a creature by how it looks because everyone is equal but different.

If you apply this to how Fo looks then his appearance makes perfect sense and it also helps show up who are non believers of Fo!

All good points, but as someone who has devoted his character and his deed to Fo (my deed's name is Garden of Fo and I run the Monastery of Fo), I still think that representation of him is both scary and unappealing. That skin missed its mark, especially given the other gods and how they look. Perhaps a giant tree instead? Or the same as his little statuette - that one looks cool! In the current form, he looks like a fallen trunk that was animated by a Raise Corpse spell to give nightmares to children all over Wurm. Heck, he gives ME nightmares, and I have worshiped the guy for 10 years!

 

I demand a reskin!
