Remove silly restriction on repairing buoys

Recommended Posts

[13:01:48] The buoy (lit) is too hot to be repaired.

What good reason can there be for this?

Placed lit buoys along a canal.  Off deed.  Knowing they would need maintained and repaired regular.

But  - what possible purpose does it serve to require snuffing them, repairing and then relighting?

Seems a HUGE imposition to maintaining projects that benefit the community.  Why make it harder than it needs to be?

It isn't required for lit lamps. Why add the restriction to buoys?

Yeah, agreed. Having to pick them up, snuff them, repair them, re-light them and then replant them is a huge waste of time. Make them like planted lights which you can repair without jumping through that many hoops.

Absolutely. Also I would like permissions on buoys to allow others, eg allies, friends etc. than the owner/planter to move, snuff and light them. And the idiotic decay of blessed buoys should be removed. Why are waterways less protected than highways or paved/reinforced tiles with lamps?

Buoys are important for navigation (like recognizing canal entrances).   It would be nice to be able to repair and improve them like we do guard towers.
