Two-word maker name on colorless drake hide glove?

Recommended Posts

I've asked around but am not getting a ton of info.

I have a colorless drake hide glove, which I'm told must be very old from before they were colors. But how does it have a maker name that is two words?

[14:03:33] You can barely make out the signature of its maker, '.om.ie aneila'.

Any info appreciated.

This doesn't really clear anything up and may not be related, but Aneila is a villager of mine on Xanadu that I've zombified a few times over the years. As far as I know, she has never been in possession of any drake gloves and I haven't got the faintest idea how or if one of the zombies could've gotten a signature on such a glove.

I don't have the knowledge of the database coding Wurm Online uses, but from a general experience it's possible the original crafter's name used a key # (database number linked to info like the character's name) and the original character was later deleted and so when the key # was reassigned for use in the database, it was associated with one of Aneila's zombies.

This is just a guess, but it could explain how.

I once had a whole dragon scale set (Red) that showed as translucent/white. Basically, a awhile back you could brush off the colour from scale/hide and it would look that way. I think this was around 2018.

I sold the set when RMT ended, can't remember to who, so that's on them if it really bugs them :D.

Long story short, due to a bug with smelting many years ago, a sword was created that used water as the material type and for imping.

GMs at the time ruled it accidental and allowed it to exist as long as it was never used and stayed on a pve server. Sadly it was lost when everything crashed in May 2007.
