Posted December 30, 2022 WTA - 1 Rare Statue of Libila fragment For avoidance of doubt on sniper protection: - Sniper protection is activated when somebody places a bid within the last 29 minutes of the auction, from the time of the "bid" 30 mins will be added on "extending the auction end time somewhat, this repeats with subsequent bids until there are no bids. example 1 - somebody bids 20 minutes before the end of the auction, the new end time for the auction would be 10 minutes after the original end time. example 2 - somebody bids 2 minutes before the end of the auction, the new end time for the auction would be 28 minutes after the original end time. example 3 - for the avoidance of doubt!!!! somebody placing a bid 35mins before the end of the auction will not "activate" sniper protection!
