Fine map table

Recommended Posts

  • This is a nicely finished, wooden table taking up an entire floor tile.
  • By right clicking and selecting Change..., the top surface of the table can be set to either the default wood texture or it can display any of the in-game maps (no annotations or updates, just the original artwork).
  • Decorative items such as chess pieces, small deed tokens, glass jugs and so on can also be placed on the table.
  • Required to create:
    • 70 Fine Carpentry skill
    • 4 shafts
    • 10 planks
    • 2 small nails
    • 1 iron ribbon

Personally, I could go for something even bigger, say 2x2 or larger.

This would be great for keeping track of abandoned deeds, for example.  Or it could be used for war-time us-vs-them strategic map thingies :)

i want to be able to do annotations or what not , but have it not linked to the ingame map on your toon. its stores its own locations, you can wipe it in an instant, and place icons for troops. AMAZING IDEA!

EDIT: OOOOH have it have a slanted position so you can display, and a flat position so you can use it for troop movments

I like this idea!

Construction materials could also include some paper or papyrus, just to give Papyrusmaking a bit more use. Also, some dyes and/or ink maybe?
