4290 Small caskets disappeared after server crossing

After going to Xan and back for the double dragon event I appear to have lost 2 caskets that were in the hold of my boat.

 

The message when crossing was the same as the one you get for the deed so I assumed it would be fine  as I hadn't looked into it.

the 2 caskets in question were gained by Ryelle while mining

this was an 80ql and was dropped into my boat

I didn't examine this one but it was 42ql and also placed into the boat

in finishing up mining before the impalong I recieved a 3rd casket

at which point I realised that the previous 2 were missing.

 

After asking about it  I was told that there were problems with caskets decaying or falling to the seafloor on server crossing.

 

Summary:

recieved 2 caskets on Ryelle (Rare 80 and 42ql) while mining and put them in my Knarr "Jalapeno"

Crossed from Pristine to Xanadu in the boat and the caskets disappeard

noticed later when I got another that they had vanished

got tied up with imaplong so got delayed in posting this

(all timestamps are BST)

 

Update Gm were able to find caskets, TL:DR Don't cross servers with caskets in the boat hold till they fix (Ticket #132794)

Idk if this helps:

- had 2 bottles inside a satchel in my inventory. 

- crossed server

- on other server put satchel in my boat

- crossed back to home server

- upon putting the satchel back in inventory noticed the bottles disappeared

- upon relogging the next day, the bottles appeared back in the satchel in my inventory

I crossed yesterday from Cadence to Harmony, with 5 caskets in the ship, including supreme. I returned soon to look for them, in like an hour I was back on Cadence. No caskets. I relogged, no caskets. I even made a quixotic trip along some patch of the Cadence western border, where I likely-ish crossed before, jumping in the water and looking hopelessly into the ocean lol.

 

They weren't in a container in the ship I believe, but directly in the ship hold. I had dropped them temporarily since my NFI character is a newbie with low strength and I wasn't about to do them yet. 😓
