No worries.  I know 1st hand the work load of maintaining a map. (grin).

 

I have been chasing Treasure maps of late.   Every time I go terraforming, these darn little caskets keep getting in the way.... hehehehehehee

 

Which in turn leads to discovering some roads have been shifted, which leads to more map updating....

 

sigh....

Sand Witch Bootique is where the bullseye is marked, i-10 (does need a market stamp)

Thank you guys for the additions, ive added them to the map.

 

 

A little update to the map:

We now have 858 towers and mission structures on the map - thats huge! Im sure there are some missing and some changes that arent reported, so please notify us in this topic whenever youre out exploring and find things that we can add or change! :) 

Ive gone through allof the towers and mission structures and made a couple of corrections, mostly spelling errors and whatnot.

 

The biggest change is that all of the tower names have been removed. Towers will be listed only as "CreatorName 123" from now and not the renamed line that would follow. There are several reasons for this, but its mainly to prevent clutter on the map. Some of the towers have very long names, and it only adds another possible way of making errors when editing in the towers (which again adds more work when having to correct the names).

Its very rare that several towers has the same creator tag and number, so this seemed just to be a bit of a waste of space and time. If this is getting into an issue, we will just have to revisit that and find a solution. I dont really think it will be an issue tho, as the treasure clues often holds both the information of creator and number, but also some additional information about the location (like grid or a nearby settlement).

Another element to consider is that we are mostly adding to the map based on player reports, and while its very understandable there will always be inconsistency in those reports.

All in all i think the map will be cleaner and easier to work with (both for the editor and the user) if we keep it simple.

 

 

As a reminder, we do appreciate if the additions to the map are added like the examples in the first post:

And to wrap it up!

Its always nice if you entertain us with new additions and/or if you spot any errors that we need to clean up!

Remember that we also would love to add more deeds, markets, tunnels and bridges (of notable size or interest) - all will help the map be more alive!

 

Im guessing this one is a temple, but we are missing information on that, so if anyone is in the neighborhood and can check that, it would be great (possibly confirm the name also?): https://independence.yaga.host/#3761,2508
