Posted July 12, 2022 (edited) Concerning which rift resource types will create runes attachable to different sorts of materials, exceptions exist when created runes include Raking/Harvesting, Gathering Quality and Vehicle Speed effects. Such runes are attachable to any sort of material which can be runed, regardless of the resource type used. (Example: A gold rune of Fo created with rift stone shards can be attached to a metal rake.) This also includes double effect runes, where one of the effects is among the aforementioned. (Example: A zinc rune of Magranon created with rift wood can be attached to a stone spirit box.) In regards to properties, Raking/Gathering runes also apply an effect on Milking actions.
