Posted July 5, 2022 There might be some disruptions to your travels around the area of https://celebration.yaga.host/#952,1126 while we undertake major road works. We will try to minimize any issues you might have on your travels through the area but please note that the highway network might be disrupted from time to time we apologize and will fix this as soon as possible. (Typically within the same day if possible)Construction list A canal around the mountain of n15. A connection to the deadnoob sea (underground cave + highway) A connection to the underground cave canal that connects up to the great plains(not shown yet will have to think of where this will be connected when the project gets to this stage) A junction at the split off between the canal and the underground canal(see further down the post for more details on the plan) A dock in the most southern point to allow for docking of boats for easier access to rifts in the area(not planned yet how this will look) A dock at Lunar docks(Already made) --Green is currently dug and able to be sailed over(not finished paving/terraforming the road) --Red is currently being worked on and is not set in stone exactly how it will lookCanal design A 2 wide slate brick highway connected road on the outside. A 2 wide canal deep enough for every boat. A 3 wide road that will be mainly used to access area's/houses along the mountainside and otherwise will be seen as a private road for the sake of what is highway and what isn't.Junction list A guard tower. A small plaza dedicated to all the gems and rope and pickaxes and shovels that have given their lives for this project. Some possible rope makers union propaganda(We need a backer after all) Multiple merchant stalls that you are free to plant your merchant into(not shown on the plan due to terrain height and rock layer needing to be checked before this is made) Possible mission objects. Plan of how the junction will look is below Please have a Moonpie on us while we work as hard and fast as we can to redesign and reconnect the area up to the highway network where needed. And sorry for any possible steppe that might be lost temporarily when the project goes through it we will work on restoring it after the project is finished. Any bridges that we might have to relocate will be planned out for first and designed an alternative for and ran by gm's to get their approval so that there will be minimal downtime for these connections to be gone. When we run close to/into the tunnel canal in the south of the mountain we hope that it will be okay to move it over if it comes down to it if this is needed and hope that the original creators would not mind it. As part of this project a lot of dead end roads and unused roads/fences will be taken care of to try and restore nature back to a more pristine state(Leaving behind obvious old settlement areas) as the area has had so many rift pens created over the last few months that this is a thing that needs to be done. Posted July 6, 2022 (edited) Update Canal tunnel has been dug, time to make it wide enough and then deep enough and make a bridge and then we can move on to the next part!Late night edit It is now 6:43am 6502 dirt have been dug across 8 hours 31 min( 3 hours 18 min action time) Totaling 6 rare dirt 2 supreme dirt 3 rare treasure maps 2 supreme treasure maps AND a rare strange bone Time for a nap and then time for the surface mining and lowering the rest of the highway and connecting it up again with the existing parts Good night wurmsies and pies!
