Let me know if this is not meant to be a horizontal connection. If it's meant to be diagonal you'll need to reinput the coordinates without 2123,2475. Otherwise, this should work as is.

Every change I've made to that extra bit doesn't appear to work. You might have to wait for Mini to give it a look see. Unfortunately 2652 is the starting point of a lot of different highway pieces, and I don't want to bork anything up fixing up a minor detail.

Updooted. Except for removing highways. Again, removing the incorrect piece causes the whole highway system to collapse, and if I wasn't the one who entered it, I have no idea which piece to take out.

 

Make a note of all of the highways you want removed, and I'll have to revisit it later when I have time to re-do/re-write the highways added earlier.

[01:39:42] A high guard tower. The guard tower has some irregularities that must be removed with a stone chisel. Ql: 22.0034, Dam: 4.54475. The name of the founder, Avorian, has been carved into the stone above the door. 'Avorian 58' is engraved in a metal plaque on the door.

I'm trying to think of any way to make it easier -- are the highways in your editor saved by start and end points? So if I were to say something like "Replace 'xx,yy to aa,bb' section with 'ww,zz to cc,dd'", would that make it easier for you? ... or does that not make any sense with how your editing system works? 🤔

 

I guess this could potentially change the way I report highway additions, for example... if I find a highway has been extended in the same direction in a straight line, I could report the veeery start point and the veeerrryy end point... if that's better.

MISSION STRUCTURE

 

 

The three best things you can do to expedite the adding of Highways would be as follows:

 

  • Don't add text after the coordinates for highways (Example: TURNS north) - I don't actually use the text and I've discovered it's in the way. I made this same mistake when I was adding highways myself, but yeah - I don't use them when entering the information in.
  • Name the highways yourself please. Preferrably with the Grid Coordinates (Which you can see by activating the grid feature) and the direction the highway is going. (For Example: G11 to H13 going Southeast) - Naming the highways is the hardest part for me, if you name them yourself, it also allows me to search them up on the Wurm forums later for corrections or deletion.
  • Larger entries might be easier for me to enter into the system - but smaller entries are far easier to correct/delete later on. Especially if they're named correctly.

Use the information how you like, I'm able to enter your information easily enough. I'd say the one thing I'd personally like the most, is people to name the highways with grids and directions to make it easier for me to find later.

I see my marker was moved to the top.  the blue square is the size of the deed.  my highway goes to the yellow line middle of the deed almost

I'd maybe move the Phlan square to where i put the yellow box with red border.

not a big deal.  i just like centering things.   and i just realized i pay almost 2Gold a yr in upkeep. so glad my wife never reads my posts.  she'd take away my credit card.... lol

 

love the map work be the way.  it's so much nicer seeing all the deeds. helps new players plan to find a spot and navigate . and i use it to navigate often too. Thanks to all involved .
