Young Man living Wurm life for 2 years

Chopped his own trees.

Crafted his own planks.

Made handles for his own tools.

Made his own house from the above.

Looted clay shingles from a disbanded deed.

Forages, hunts, and fishes for food and mushrooms.

He even made Lingoberry Jam.

There are quite a few people like this, living the Wurm life in real life, that can be found on Youtube and elsewhere.

 

I'm also in the midst of a long journey building my own house from scratch on very remote land. Cutting trees, bucking and skinning them, then making planks, posts, etc. Digging out a hillside, one shovel scoop at a time. It's very hard work and slow but incredibly rewarding and personal when every little piece was worked by hand and with individual attention. 

 

I've bought several plots of remote land over the years, and for anyone interested, can point you in the direction of affordable plots and even many without need for credit. At least in the US anyway. It's all very doable if your dream is to Wurm it up irl 😁
