Posted April 25, 2022 (edited) What was the outcome of the heatmap idea? We can see the poll results but I cannot recall seeing anything since on if this would actually be implemented or not. This doesn't even have to be something introduced into the main game map. I feel the new player experience can be overwhelming and trying to find a spot to setup (especially around the starter towns when you cannot travel any distance in a hurry) can be difficult on the established servers. Having the heatmap available on the entry portal to each map along with a text that says "percentage of available land" would be super useful.
