What are you watching on Netflix?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone recommend anything decent right now?

I'm stuck in a phase of rewatching stuff, I:E The Witcher, Lucifer, Friends, The Vampire Diaries, crime documentaries, anything and everything with Dwayne Johnson in (I'm not obsessed....really lol) a few horrors and paranormal films that leave me super paranoid and anxious at night. 🤣

What's your favourite go to film/series?

Stranger Things

Dark (wicked, time travel)

Vikings

Black Mirror (very depressing)

Disenchanted (wicked animated fantasy)

Happy (pure madness)

For shorts:

Love, Death + Robots

Also I really like "Beforeigners" - a Norwegian series about refugees in today's Oslo from the past (ohh but it is HBO)

Roman Empire is good has 3 seasons and is on Netflix... they keep it more historic less blood and nudity like Spartacus is. So can pick your favorite flavours from those two.

Marco Polo is nice too only 2 seasons tho sadly got canceled :(

Guess i kinda like historic series lol

La Revolution is quite decent too but only one season so far.

Read the books first, the show is not bad but the books are way better

I was expecting I will hate it but actually loved it a lot.

Predestination if it is still on.  Based on a short by one of my favourite authors.  Very mind bendery.

Another Life

Lost in Space

Detectorists

Cowboy Bebop (anime and live action)

Almost any Neill Blomkamp movie.

Shawn the Sheep

Forged in Fire (although I can't remember if that was actually Netflix)

Thank you for the ideas guys, I'll take a look at a few later. I don't have Disney+ though. I pay for Netflix and Prime already and I refuse to pay for another, because I'm cheap like that. 🤣

I just finished watching Daredevil. Really enjoyable. But after season 2 had to watch The Defenders to understand what was going in in Season 3. Though there are like 3 other shows to watch to understand who's who in Defenders. Didn't watch any of those lol.

consider switching subscription to a different service here and there if possible, that's worth ... to binge on series on 1 service and then switch to another, keep it going that way

Zoo!

Animals start to turn on humans, world wide!  Just finished season 1. Is quite interesting and the animals attacking makes me think of Jurassic Park in a way.

Edit: I've now stopped watching zoo cause it was making me jumpy and fearful of normal animals and I don't want that.

Many of my suggestions have already been made, however I have one to add to the list. I’m currently watching “The 100”. It has 7 seasons and is set in a post apocalyptic Earth where a group of humans who have been in orbit since the disaster finally return after generations have past. I’ve got to the 3rd season so far and am really enjoying it.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S !!! I was too young for it back in the day, now I get the humor behind it and I'm loving every episode

Currently: - Bluey.

It's on kid's TV, but it is so refreshingly real (especially for animated anthropomorphic talking dogs).  And, for me, it is very local.

I think I petered out somewhere along the 2nd or 3rd season.  I must admit, it seemed to me to have borrowed heavily from the Amtrak Wars (not that that is a bad thing - I would have loved to see that made into something visual).
