Posted January 28, 2022 (edited) Much the same as fence types can be added to arched walls, walls with window openings could have added to them stained glass. A simple pattern for each window opening type with colors chosen by dyes used in the creation phase. Sand melted in a furnace and dropped on a specified surface and allowed to cool to make 'piece of glass'. X many pieces of glass and x lead lumps to make a window pane. Dye optional to make different color stained glass or simply a clear window with a lead pattern holding the panes. Pane then added to wall with window opening. Other options are: Stained glass windows honoring each deity with an image of each, requiring specific dyes corresponding to colors normally associated with the deity. Kingdom specific stained glass windows much the same as kingdom banners also requiring specific dies corresponding to Kingdom Colors. Posted January 28, 2022 + 100 Stained glass has been asked for quite often and I truly think it would add a lot of visual appeal to the game. Particularly with windows that depict Wurm deities and kingdom banner styles that are unique to the game. Windows depicting uniques and rift creatures would also lend to this. Posted January 29, 2022 Imho Id be happy with just glass; however, stained glass would be awesome too. Not asking for modern, super clear glass fyi. Medieval glass, unless made by an extremely skilled master using the best materials and facilities available, was pretty low quality by todays standards. Posted January 29, 2022 I had posted a long time ago this. Sand Into a Kiln, melts the sand much like ore into Glass of 1 or .1 kg While heated could be shaped into Statuettes, Sheets ( for windows ) and combined to create Glass Statues. Various Lumps of Lead, Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold ect could be combined to the statue to give it a color ( was before they added a greater ability to dye more items )
Posted June 16, 2022 This would be near top of the list for what I'd like to see in the game also. I'm actually surprised glass hasn't been implemented already, should have been in years ago. I would like the stained glass also but maybe just paint them and it goes to the colour of your choosing, you could make some lovely designs with stained glass. So I hope this is 1 feature that does get added sooner rather than later.
