Yes, if i remember correctly it was either Press or Fruit press on cocoa.

Mortar n pestle is now just cocoa, which is why the confusion.

I know this is a bit of an old post but it is also the first result that comes up on Google for anyone looking for this. Leaving this here for when I forget how to make it and end up searching for it again, hopefully helps someone else too.

Cacao Beans - Forage or grow in a planter

Cocoa Beans - Stick the cacao beans in a roasting tray

Cocoa Paste - Use a fruit press on cocoa beans

Cocoa Liquor - Cook cocoa paste in a cauldron, presumably bowl or a few others work too

Cocoa Powder - Use a press on cocoa liquor

 

Bonus: Just "cocoa" is made with a mortar and pestle on cocoa beans, I think this is a separate direction of crafting and can be used to make Coconuts if you use the cocoa with hazelnuts

 

Note that one stage is fruit press, another is press. Different items.

 

Another possibly useful point, old foraged "Cocoa Beans" can be put in FSBs, but newly foraged Cacao Beans which are then roasted to make "Roasted Cocoa Beans" cannot go into FSBs, but they are otherwise used the same in cooking from this point.

Thanks Korhaka, good info. updated it abit to change Cocoa Beans to Roasted Cocoa beans, added Cocoa Butter and FSB storability.

 

Cacao Beans - Forage or grow in a planter (pick seeds from Cacao Pod)             FSB = Y

Cacao Pod - Picked from Plantar       FSB = Y

Roasted Cocoa Beans - Roast cacao beans in a roasting pan   FSB = N

Cocoa - Use Mortar and Pestle on Roasted Cocoa Beans     FSB = N

Cocoa Paste - Use a fruit press on Roasted Cocoa beans       FSB = Y

Cocoa Liquor - Cook cocoa paste in a cauldron/Bowl        FSB = N (But can be stored in sealed Liquid container) 

Cocoa Powder - Use a press on cocoa liquor                  FSB = Y

Cocoa Butter - use a Fruit Press on Cocoa liquor           FSB = Y

 

old foraged "Cocoa Beans" can be put in FSBs

Newly foraged Cacao Beans which are then roasted to make "Roasted Cocoa Beans" cannot go into FSBs
