Posted October 15, 2021 As the title states: A troll literally started swimming towards me ( center of the lake). It showed the troll walking underwater as if its walking on the ground and got to me. Is the troll still out there swimming? Hi Pomona, It was at a Lake behind our farm. The lake is not very deep but you still had to swim to the center. This was confirmed by the swimming animation and the fact that my stamina did not regenerate. The troll however, just went underwater and walked towards me at the center of the Lake. It did get stuck for a second though, while going underwater but when I moved more to the center, it started walking again. The troll is not at the lake anymore. It probably just swam back to the shore again and is either wandering around somewhere , took off or some neighbor killed it. The mentioned lake is at our place, The Lakeside (North-east of K-25 Cadence). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted October 18, 2021 this has been happening ever since this change broke how trolls interact with water, they'll spam aggro and cancel for a bit most of the time, easy way to replicate it is to have water between two platforms, and the mob (happens for any hostile mob) will just walk through the water to get to you. some mobs do it worse than others, like hell scorps will just wander into the water and drown by themselves with nothing to aggro On 6/14/2018 at 9:52 PM, DevBlog said: Bugfix: The Troll King will not drown his followers if he leads them to water. Is the troll still out there swimming? I've had numerous other animals follow into the sea; Spiders Hell Scorpious Trolls And also seen them randomly in the sea, drowning.
