Help I cannot log into wurm via steam it says validation failed

A 4+ hour total outage is not really "a weekly thing" for steam. But beyond that, yeah.

I often get the Steam Validation error these days - even twice today. 
I just restart Steam App and it works again. 

 

I think it has something to do with the instance not fully logging out when you last logged into Wurm. 

It's similar to that other error where Wurm several months ago where the game doesn't properly shut down it's instance within the steam app and still had you "Running" Wurm Online even though it's not open.  (Java something...? that kills your process)
