Unfortunately,  I will not be here for the end of the auction.  However I'm pretty sure the auction can end just fine without me.  I'm sure you all know how snipe protection works...but just in case:

 

the auction ends 1 hour after the last bid, unless the last bid was more then an hour before the auction timer ends.

 

So if the auction timer ends, and nobody has bid in more then an hour...the auction is over.  Otherwise the auction keeps extending to one hour past the last bid.
