So I've been attached by thousands of regular HHs, but always assumed there was no such thing as a champ.  Anyone know how long they have been in the game?

few years i think, they only spawn for missions, same as like champ tortoises anacondas and some other things that don't have lairs

Then we need lairs for those as well.

rng was with you.. these are either insanely hard to hit.. or die 'instantly' in 2-3/+ hits.. depending on your weapon/stats

I wish we had normal lava fiend champs.. much more fun to see and clap than another troll(too common), only heard of champ lava fiends.. as mission spawns; apparently if there's no lair/den/etc(spawner) for the creature type.. it's not possible to get normal spawn of it as champ.. unless it's rng from missions

some breed such, you can either do the same or buy one from somebody... if you want a pet.. (guessing new permanent tame trait could make these into some new weird home pet for some)

OK, that is actually much cuter than the normal ones.  I would consider having one for a pet. :)

I still get a bit nervy of normal ones, just because they always seem to hit out of nowhere.  I think this one would have prompted squid impersonation.
