Queueing sow after harvest/cultivate

Recommended Posts

Allow sow to be action queued after other actions.

It's silly that we can't queue sow after harvest/cultivate

I like the idea, Yet i feel the need to voice a bit of caution with this.

From a coding point of view i could see this being annoying and bug sensitive.

Being allowed to sow on a field is in my eyes asking for bugs.

As such i would argue just harvest all then go another round and sow all.

Its what most of us have been doing for years now. Works well and easy.

You cant right click a crop tile and sow, it needs to be dirt. Which it won't be until you finish harvesting.

This was always like this.

true

But you can use keybinds and I use that

also keeping 3 satchel on my toolbelt

So I Tend 3 tiles by pressing E then press Q to harvest those 3 tiles and finally I press satchel 1 press F on tile 1 press satchel 2 on tile 2 and press satchel 3 on tile 3

and by that that I have tended, harvest and sowed 3 tiles and so I repeat this over and over untill I run out of tiles

And now you know how to farm .)

no need.. it's not spacex work..

it's just point and click a keybind... rest is taking that tile position/id or w/e it's referred as .. and popping the sow action after the harvest action..

it's no different from IMPROVE, REPAIR -> game server telling you -> you're a ...... idiot, this item doesn't need repairing!!!

and we ignore that and mash improve, repair, improve, repair.. over and over again... especially with tempering...

--edit that aside..

I do prefer to farm, harvest at once.. then go around 2nd time to replant.. main reason is harvesting works from wagon+fsb/of bsb/, the other bit is.. 8 to 20+ yield per tile stacks quickly in inventory.. as item count and weight, carrying 15 containers to hold more isn't helping with crop yield management.. just forces you to move things more often into backpacks/etc
