getting a little personal, given the history of your replies with no backing ever.. just replying for the sake of it.

so you have no information like the mentioned, you just believe that it have happened because obi typed so?

 

and no I normally do not read obi's posts, nothing useful to learn from them

Maybe just make uniques a highly personal player experience. Only through some certain actions (or even just sheer luck) can a unique become available and visible to a single player through their own actions. Some storyline lore could explain the whys and hows. Then, they can communicate this "sacred knowledge" to anyone they want for help with the kill. Those players can then see the unique and hit it and whatnot, but no one else can see it or interact with it. Would this solve stealthing complaints and others about the system?

 

The mechanics are already sort of there when you see and interact with illusions on the insanity path that others around you cannot.

 

Just throwing ideas.

I think that's more an overall change to uniques, which is a topic I want to try and avoid in this thread since it's away above the scale I want to deal with. I just want to have this crack in the wall fixed, until we can fully replace it

Off topic, but similar problem. Being in a cave reduces your local range, so I think someone can be in range for the rewards and not show up in local without stealthing.

He claims to know of existing cases where this have happened, isn't this thread about the need of patching a hole that apparently people are using but it's not quite proven to be needed at all... maybe only for pvp.

Further more, you claim that this was one of the reasons for unique etiquette, yet it's not in the etiquette - how so?

Further more, etiquette appeared soon after the 2nd time the group in which you were/are had multiple tries successful or not to steal already penned uniques. 

Just little history. No fiction.

very clearly states no alts in local in it genius can you not read

 

i can pm you my chat with enki about it happening and him being annoyef its wasting so much of his staffs time and him going over the basic idea of the unique hunting etiquette to see if i could find any issues with it when i get home from work if you'd like

no need, genious(was that really needed); whole thing is to this point unnecessary mystified, while it could have been plainly explained like this to get ahead of things and vote on it even though it's unnecessary if it's wasting resources to track and should have been reported internally for a fix; that is similar to common issues reported or complained about in ca-help that doesn't seem to be summed up and returned as feedback to devs for possible improvement to mechanics.

 

It was just interesting why it's a known gm issue that isn't just reported to devs to be patched as suggested if it wastes gm time and resources to track it.

I'm just a player, don't care about the pvp dramas or hunter issues.(I'd have to be somehow interested in the matter, and I'm not at all)

 

I'd imagine a dragon is a good reason to fight or just wait for a death then fight or flight between teams/kingdoms.. on pvp servers.. and stealthing to be cool little initiator cause.. once people find the resource loss.. but lets put that aside.. if it's not intended.. and etiquette applies even on pvp.. Fine with me, I'm not discussing that, it's just an opinion.
