Since the new update of 17/06/2021 the steam linux client keeps crashing persistently upon exit, see below crash log:

I am having the same problem - Steam client crashes on Linux.

Please Devs, fix this asap.

This seems to be fixed in patch from 28/Oct/2021 "Bugfix: Fixed a crash happening when logging out".

Steam client don't crash on exit anymore on Linux (at least for me).
