Animals eating from storage containers

Recommended Posts

My dog ate the snowballs I had on a plate inside a coffin.

Thanks, I wasn't certain with the nested containers but Neopherus said to report it.
Nalimar also said a horse had eaten out of a crate in a crate-rack - but crate-racks can be locked.

Since they eat snowballs can they eat anything now?

Also the fact that they eat from crates makes me a bit worried about all those bricks...

Snowballs are a food item and dogs have always eaten most things.  I keep my 100ql meat in a crate so I am just glad I have a lock on the rack because that would have been very expensive dog food.
My experiment with rate of decay of snowballs in a coffin will just need to wait until next winter - lol

Hard to tell what sort of random undesirable outcomes we can get w/ this one.

Animals will now eat out of containers that cannot be locked.

Maybe the animals will avoid eating out of locked, or lockable containers. What if we got an unlockable container, inside a lockable container.

This one may take some getting used to. Having animals randomly eating stuff out of a crate (unlockable) inside a cart (lockable). Someone should test this stuff. No matter who tests it. No matter where it gets posted, someone is gonna have an undesirable outcome over this, I'd predict.
