Players wishing to enter the "round" can purchase a token in the Wurm Shop (~$5 maybe?) which grants access to a single Jackal round for the duration of the round. Tokens are good for any round, but only one round. Here's a way to bring back what many considered a very successful feature, but in a way that can also provide recurring financial support for the game. Posted May 25, 2021 The problem with Jackal is, you teleport over with you main and get like 1/10 or somehting silly back on anything gained, and the end rewards are junk. You might as well stayed on your main server. At least with a challenge server, always got a chance of getting something rare, and any funds gathered on there transfer over to main server. 'hey open new map, reset it twice a year, make it available with 5$ entry fee' - but why? it's just a bit hollow.. just a crap new server to suck players to ride ants and kill more bunnies DON'T GET ME WRONG, it just misses something new and polishing old stuff Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted May 25, 2021 -1 to the proposal, as far as it extends to already premium characters. +1 for Jackal. Moreover, I could imagine a Jackal only sub for non premium and/or new players or old returnees at a reduced rate, where 5€ or 6$ or 40 ¥ seem a bit few, the usual beginner fee of 8€ should be ok. But indeed as a subscription for one Jackal round for non subbed, not a "Jackal tax" for premium accounts. As to riding on ants (more crickets) and bashing wabbits, yes, was fun and will be.
