Just taken a close look at the Linton area on the map. The possible source of some, if not all, of the confusion is that Linton's position is not shown correctly.

Most of the time I spend on the map actually involves moving the labels around (Top, Left, Right, Bottom) to make the map more readable. Some places are very difficult given the amount of deeds and guard towers clustered into a small area. I'm actually dreading the day when the towers around Newspring are added, that won't be fun, lol.

So, I've got the deeds put on the map, as well as the guard tower. The deeds are put in as a single point and the box icon is automatically generated by the map, which is why all of them are the same size. I approximated the center of your two deeds and placed the point there, so if they're off, give me a new center point for your deeds and I"ll change it. Most people use the tile their token is on as the center of their deed, but some deeds are off-centered from the token (because we can't move the token [insert rant]).
