Wurm wont start

I uninstalled, and reinstalled everything fresh.  The client closes immediately however the jobs are still running in task manager.

 

32bit OS

32bit Java

WURM uses 64 bit now , try that see if it works..

They cannot use 64 bit java on a 32 bit OS. 

 

Did WU work on this computer until recently?  

 

If you have any mods running disable them for now to see if it is a mod conflict.

 

Try also rebooting the computer if you have not done so already, in case something is borked in memory.

look for logs, check console logs (\Steam\steamapps\common\Wurm Online\gamedata)

Ah so no more 32 bit  WOW for THIS game.. WOW, not interested enough in this to bother me installing my whole OS to accomodate it.  Thx for the answer though.  Makes me wonder why there is still a 32 bit installed though.

True although those links are for WO and this is the tech section for WU.

 

If Steam installed it on a 32-bit OS I would assume WU still has a 32-bit option, although the 32-bit does not run as well.

 

Try uninstalling any mods and reboot and see if it still crashes, when was the last time Wurm Unlimited ran ok for you?

Oh sorry, I am trying Wurm Online, I guess I put this in the wrong forum.  Is it 32 bit still?  Can you move this thread there?

 

Steam, Im not running this through steam,,I never have EVER.
