try different client mode, test, min-max memory and different resolutions... 

same issue is definitely solved already on the forums, either you or a mod/dev will eventually pull the solution from a list of such.. or ask you for other info, what you can do while you wait is to try different memory client mode and chance resolution/fullscreen or not .. as options - if any of that works - update this thread, it will be useful for others or yourself another time

Are you overclocking / under-powering your cpu?

No, not doing any of those overclock things, also i have 500+ games on my Steam and none of the 'heavy' ones do this.

 

RTX-2080S and processor both runs around 50 C, nothing special going on. NVidia drivers are latest. Windows 10 is latest patched. Java is latest, but i think the game uses its own java env. I have 32 G ram.

 

Like i played X4 for hours yesterday, and that game is resource hungry. (also played Valheim, Train Sim World 2, Medieval Dynasty, Subnautica the last few days without issues).

Maybe, some synchronization issue with the game as it's always java.lang.NullPointerException, somehow on 16 cores and high speeds it does something out of usual order.

 

What is frustrating is that my subscription time is ticking (bought support package) and cannot play...

Can you remember what actions were you doing at the time of the crashes ? Walking around ? Crafting ? Fighting ?

I have been told that some of your crashes don't make any sense I suggest you verify your local file integrity of the Wurm client on Steam in case there is some corruption.
